Born and raised in Michigan, I spent my childhood in a farmhouse near Midland. At 18 I moved to Lansing and spent the next several years living between Lansing and Ann Arbor.
I moved to Phoenix in July of 1991 arriving in the Valley of the Sun at 6:30am. It was 95 degrees when I went to sleep that morning. When I awoke at noon and stepped outside it was like opening the door of an oven. I have loved Phoenix ever since and never complain about the heat. (It could be worse, I could still live in Michigan!)
In 1997, Larry joined my life. I had been thinking about getting a dog for quite some time and one day while skimming through channels I stopped at “Pets on Parade”. As soon as I saw his face, I knew he was the one for me. Larry was part Yellow Lab and part Husky. When I got to the Humane Society that afternoon, Larry made it clear that I was the one for him as well. He was a great companion from then on. He slowed a bit approaching and into his 13th year, but we stayed just as dedicated to each other until the day he died in early 2009.
I currently have a real estate license with the State of Arizona Department of Real Estate.
